Trying to think of a term to describe the weird feeling of watching forms of social contact between humans that, here at least, for now, aren’t allowed. Mass gatherings etc.
I came up with “necrocontacts” to describe more contact based things that are suspended or endangered -often as a result of social distancing though I suppose other things might also produce them. Some of these may still exist as zombies. Handshakes, for example, are a necrocontact. High fives in the NBA are now a necrocontact. A possible soon to be necrocontact might be cheek kissing as greeting. You get the idea.
We might need words for these sorts of things. So take this one if you need it. I hope it serves you well.
